The Sant Agostino Church bell tower in Teggiano Policastro involved the restoration and preservation of the heritage walls and floors.
The restoration of the walls involved stripping and cleaning the stone bricks and re-plastering. This also meant revamping skirting boards, window and door frames.
Repairs to the ceilings were made possible through the recovery of chestnut beams. The intermediate floors were reinforced with beams, cast in concrete, and fixed to the perimeter walls using corrugated steel clamps.
