Primus up

A women’s fashion boutique in the centre of Salerno.

The original store was cramped with poor lighting, was very dark. The ground floor had two steps linking it to a lower level. With an old iron staircase right in the entrance.

A first project objective was to drastically improve the lighting and we did this by maximizing the height of the shop front window acting as the main source of natural light.

To build on light the theme became white, so we proceeded with white walls and pavement leaving the staircase in gold for that high fashion boutique flavour. Naturally, all furnishings were white.

We included clusters of white spheres that together created a large chandelier effect in the center and entrance for impact. Which lead us to include spherical designs on the walls to promote an exhibition style environment.

The merger of lighting and space successfully act as a spotlight for the garments on sale.
